The Financial Services EY EDGE (Exceptional Delivery and Growth Engine) practice provides specialized tax technical services to U.S. and global clients, leveraging deep process and service delivery expertise that sets EY apart. Within this, the FSO EDGE International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) team provides tailored tax support to corporate and private equity clients across their capital agenda. As a services manager, you will lead collaborations with experienced professionals on high-profile projects, strategic tax planning, and advisory services, while helping clients achieve optimal outcomes in a dynamic financial environment.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst in FSO ITTS EDGE, your key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver tax compliance and consulting work for clients with a high degree of quality and attention to detail
• Identify and communicate potential issues to support the timely and accurate completion of tax returns, research, accounting, and projects
• Collaborate with clients and engagement teams, escalating complex matters to senior team members and subject-matter professionals as appropriate
• Manage assigned workstreams independently while seeking guidance on complex or unique matters
• Maintain regular communication with client tax liaisons and trust teams to support project execution and client service
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal team members
• Coordinate engagement deliverables and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines and quality expectations
• Contribute to the development of junior team members by sharing knowledge, providing support, and fostering collaboration

Skills and attributes for success

• Ability to identify and escalate problem areas to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax projects
• Experience presenting complex topics in client conversations
• Ability to break down complex tax projects and formulate client-centric solutions
• Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple assignments and deadlines

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics
• A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant tax experience or equivalent experience in the financial services industry
• Excellent teaming, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills

Ideally, you will have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent (EA) or licensed attorney

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job is:
• New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $98,400 to $147,500
• Bay Area California offices – $102,500 to $153,600
• All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $81,900 to $135,100
• Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
• Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
