Key Responsibilities

As anActuarial Intern, youwill be working in teams toassistyour seniors in audit support work for our life insurance clients.

What we are looking for

  • Knowledge in Actuarial Science, Mathematics,Statisticsor other related disciplines thatpossessesan analytical and quantitativecomponent

  • A self-driven learner with the ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and techniques such as proprietary actuarial software and cash flow models.

  • An appreciation for structured methodical research, criticalthinkingand problem-solving skills with an understandingforthe application of these skills in the businessenvironment.

  • A natural curiosity toidentify, investigate and explain trends and patterns in data.

  • An ability toanalyseand break down complex concepts and technical findings into clear and simple language for communicationtoteam members and clients.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), including VBA programming.

  • Knowledge of any of the following will be an added advantage:

  • a. Programming (e.g.VBA, C++, Java, Python)

  • b An analyticalsoftware (e.g.R, SAS)
