What this role is all about:

Partnering with a full team of professionals, this role provides comprehensive and balanced financial solutions that support the financial wellness of our clients. This position is perfect for someone wanting to develop their banking career towards a Financial Planning/Advisory pathway. Your in-depth understanding of a wide variety of investment and credit solutions enable you to be a sales and service leader.

This role is within our BlueShore Financial division, based out of the Lonsdale branch in North Vancouver and working a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.

What you’ll do:

• Responds to a wide variety of client requests and inquiries using the "Four Pillars" approach – Banking, Investments, Credit and Insurance.
• Understands and advises clients on the purchase of registered and non-registered investment products (including Mutual Funds). Completes and processes all related documentation utilizing advisory tools and ensuring compliance to regulations. Refers more complex needs to Financial Advisor as required.
• Understands and advises clients on the purchase of personal lending products and services including mortgages, personal loans, lines of credit, MasterCard applications and associated insurance products. Makes appropriate credit recommendations to Manager.
• Calls unassigned clients during campaigns and as directed by Manager. Negotiates pricing and processes renewals within established pricing grid.
• Processes estate accounts compiling the necessary documentation. Completes required transactions and refers more complex requests as needed.

What you'll bring:

• 2 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
• Mutual Funds license and experience is an asset.
• Solid understanding of retail lending (including mortgages) and investment products.
• Intermediate financial planning courses preferred.
