Job Description

This role offers an opportunity to take ownership of end‑to‑end financial reporting and accounting activities within a global shared services environment. As a Finance Senior Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, driving process excellence, and supporting strategic decision‑making for international business units. You’ll gain exposure to complex accounting processes, lead automation and migration initiatives, and grow as a trusted finance partner while mentoring and developing others.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for internal stakeholders and external regulators (Insurance Commission, BIR, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas).
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, intercompany and overhead allocations, and suspense account monitoring.
  • Review work of junior team members to ensure accuracy, quality, and on‑time submission of deliverables.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for issues and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Drive and support automation projects to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost effectiveness.
  • Lead or support process migration activities, including documentation, parallel runs, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and business unit point‑of‑contact for assigned finance processes.
  • Support training, coaching, and onboarding of new team members.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or management reporting, including a minimum of 3 years in a shared services center or international organization
  • CPA license with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, and month‑end close processes
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas and pivot tables required; VBA is an advantage)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in fast‑paced and ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in process migration or transitions
  • Exposure to automation initiatives or digital finance tools
  • Background in working with multinational or cross‑cultural teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and reviewer/quality assurance experience
