of the Role:

Financial reporting and audits, MIS and Budget preparation, Cost allocations, support to internal finance teams for various reconciliations, statutory compliances and Insurance

Responsibilities:

  • Review various journal entries, monthly trial balances and month closing working schedules- Accrual, prepaid and fixed assets

  • Responsible for preparation of financial statements, Variance analysis and GL scrutiny

  • Prepare and review monthly working files for invoicing Group companies and review of cost centers for data analytics and cost control

  • Support tax function with accounting entries, budget analysis and reconciliations, Trial balance and business analytics for Transfer pricing working and documentation

  • Analysis for FAR and Capital-work-in progress

  • Support all audits - (statutory, internal and cost) and preparation of statutory financial statements and monthly management MIS

  • Cost allocation cycles and analysis

  • Co-ordinate with Insurance agents for policy renewal and tracking of insurance claims status

  • Support Group risk team regarding timely submission of details for insurance and related queries

  • Ensure statutory compliances updation and timely submission of data to external/Govt authorities

  • Responsible for supporting BA and Finance in GA process and support the business in maintaining master data

  • Support in monthly meetings with finance and non-finance stakeholders, for key updates to understand the changes in business and reporting requirements

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Chartered Accountant with min 2 - 3 years or Professional degree MBA in Finance with min 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience preferably in MNC (Manufacturing domain would be an asset)

  • Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis and reporting, ability to apply this knowledge appropriately in diverse situations and changes in business requirement

  • Exposure to IND AS, General accounting, reconciliations, GL Scrutiny

  • Knowledge of taxation, GST and SAP (S4 Hana) would be added advantage

  • Exposure of handling stakeholders’ requirements and basic proven experience in handling audit queries and communication with stakeholders

  • Sound understanding of MS office tools - MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
