Who we are looking for

Global Funds Management is responsible for treasury, fund administration, and financial and regulatory reporting for our registered and unregistered funds globally. This includes valuation, board liaison and reporting, taxation, expense accruals, service provider oversight, and support for new product initiatives.

As part of this function, we are seeking a Senior Analyst to support the oversight of financial reporting for European mutual funds and ETFs The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS principles, together with an understanding of European fund structures. A continuous improvement mindset and an interest in technology and innovation are key to succeeding in this role.

Why this role is important to us

Due to increased client expectations and evolving European regulatory reporting requirements, particularly in relation to fund cost and fee disclosures, there is a need to further strengthen financial reporting oversight capabilities within the team. This role will support that objective by contributing strong fund accounting or audit expertise.

The individual will take a key role in reviewing annual and interim fund financial statements, coordinating with key stakeholders such as the financial reporting team and external auditors, reviewing underlying fund data, and supporting compliance with applicable local regulatory disclosure requirements. The role will also contribute to horizon scanning for upcoming regulatory developments and assessing their potential impact on financial disclosures.

In addition, the individual will support ongoing initiatives to enhance controls, improve process efficiency, and strengthen the overall financial reporting oversight framework for European funds.

What you will be responsible for

As European Financial Reporting Analyst you will:

  • Provide independent oversight of annual and interim financial statements for European domiciled funds (e.g. UCITS, AIFs, SICAVs, ICAVs).
  • Exercise effective oversight and challenge over fund administrators and other delegated service providers.
  • Identify reporting errors, inconsistencies, or control weaknesses and ensure appropriate remediation and documentation.
  • Act as a key liaison with external auditors for European fund audits, including coordination and resolution of audit queries.
  • Engage with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Product teams on reporting matters affecting governance, benchmarks, and investor disclosures.
  • Maintain ownership of oversight conclusions and ensure timely follow‑up on identified issues.
  • Ensure timely delivery of financial reporting and regulatory filings, securing SME input where required.
  • Create, maintain, and update procedures and support continuous improvement of financial reporting oversight frameworks and controls.

  • Comfort working with documentation, evidence, and audit‑ready support materials
  • Ability to coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders and follow through on assigned actions
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge across fund structures, benchmarks, and reporting requirements
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience supporting board meetings, including preparation or review of board materials and reporting packs

Three days of office presence is required for this role.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Equivalent to a B.S. degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred
  • 4–6 years of relevant work experience, preferably with an investment adviser, public accounting firm, or financial services organization
  • Knowledge of European fund regulation (e.g. UCITS V, AIFMD) and accounting regimes (IFRS/GAAP)
  • Experience working with European‑domiciled investment funds (e.g. UCITS, AIFs) and related service provider models
  • Prior experience in audit, fund administration, or financial reporting review/oversight roles
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and investor disclosures for European funds
  • Experience supporting or coordinating external audits within a European regulatory environment

Minimum Salary:

zł132 000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
