YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a senior international financial reporting expert – accountant or auditor/CPA.

We seek an energetic individual who has clearly shown excellence in their past, ideally in a professional services or similar environment. Someone with strong team skills and a good sense of humour will have an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly motivated international team. They will join our office in the centre of Warsaw with a full-time position, supporting Altman Solon’s European offices.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Manage financial statement and consolidation preparation for several international group companies, working closely with external advisors and auditors
  • Manage timely monthly and annual closing, guiding and supervising junior team members and coordinating with other accounting teams
  • Ensure accurate general ledger accounts and reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP, particularly revenue recognition, intercompany accounting and partnership capital
  • Contribute to process optimization, guideline and policy implementations and improvements, especially for monthly and annual closing

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least eight years’ financial accounting, reporting or audit experience in an international environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and procedures (including US GAAP/IFRS), particularly revenue recognition, closing, consolidation and financial statements
  • Good knowledge of accounting systems (ideally SAP Business ByDesign) and of MS Excel
  • Degree and/or qualification (e.g. ACCA or auditor) in finance or accounting
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, detail orientated and motivated
  • Excellent English
