WHAT YOU'LL DO

Our Finance team loves digging into the details to drive profitability while providing excellent customer service.

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring timely preparation, analysis and reconciliation to the company’s monthly financial statements, while continuously seeking process improvement opportunities throughout not only the Finance department, but also the Company as a whole.

Direct Reports: Senior Accountants

Location: Onsite at our Preston, WA office 4+ days a week

*While we strive to offer flexibility, this role also requires it. There may be times when you're expected to come onsite outside your typical in-office days to support special projects, team events, or other business needs.

Annual Bonus Potential: 13% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.

Base Salary: $122,000 - $152,000 (depending on experience)

Note New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.

  • Complete month-end and year-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and budget/forecast to actual analysis.

  • Manage annual external financial statement audits and other regulatory audits as required

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts and assist with financial analysis as needed.

  • Establish and maintain internal controls.

  • Provide assistance in gross margin analysis by means of preparing profit and loss reports.

  • Ensure issuance of accurate and useful financial and management reporting (financial statements) for internal, external and Board use.

  • Provide leadership over the general accounting team including setting goals and objectives, coaching team members, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

  • Supervise and assist with preparation federal, state and local tax returns.

  • Management of treasury operations, including review of bank reconciliations and preparation of reporting materials to bank.

  • Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed at all times, notifying immediate manager of any food safety and/or quality issues.

  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

  • Certified Public Accountant license required

  • 3 years of Public Accounting experience preferred

  • At least five (5) years of broad financial experience

  • Knowledge and experience working with ERP (D365 experience preferred, but not required).

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Power-user in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables)

  • Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, occasionally working evenings and weekends for special assignments

  • Onsite and Hybrid Rain Makers: Get paid to carpool! Drive to work with another Rain Maker every week at least 2X a week and receive mileage reimbursement.

Please note, eligibility for our full benefits package is based on an average of 30+ hours per week in regular (not temporary) positions.
