Team mission

The Financial Reporting team turns complex financial data into clear, reliable insights that leadership and cross-functional partners can trust and act on. We work at the intersection of Finance, Commercial, and Operations — making sure the right information reaches the right people at the right time.

Our work shapes how GetYourGuide makes decisions, from day-to-day operations to long-term strategy. If you care about precision, clarity, and making financial information genuinely useful, you'll fit right in.

The Financial Reporting Analyst will report directly to the Head of Technical Accounting and Reporting and will contribute meaningfully to enhancing the group’s reporting processes.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position to cover a period of parental leave while offering full integration into the Financial Reporting team with meaningful exposure to group-level reporting within a dynamic high-growth environment.

Your mission

  • Prepare the consolidated annual and quarterly financial reports in accordance with IFRS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop, document, and implement financial reporting policies, processes, and workflows.
  • Champion the exploration and adoption of AI and other emerging tools within the reporting cycle to enhance our financial close and disclosure processes.
  • Analyze financial data and present insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support the integrity of financial information through the maintenance of robust internal controls and processes.
  • Support coordination with external auditors, including the preparation of audit deliverables and timely resolution of queries.

Your toolkit

  • Financial Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the finance department of a multinational or publicly listed company, ideally within the e-commerce sector.
  • Regulatory Know-How: Strong knowledge of IFRS required
  • Systems and Tools Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and proficiency with large ERP systems (e.g. SAP); experience with Workiva or OneStream is a plus.
  • Mindset & Ways of Working: Bring intellectual curiosity and a growth-oriented mindset - staying ahead of developments in accounting and financial reporting frameworks, with openness to exploring new ways of working to continuously improve processes.
  • You have superb written and verbal English communication skills across different audiences and can quickly build relationships with stakeholders

Extras that give you an edge

  • Preferably hold a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA) or an equivalent master's degree.
  • Experience with Workiva or OneStream
  • German language skills and familiarity with German GAAP is advantageous

How we’ll make your career journey extraordinary

  • Annual personal growth budget and mentorship programs for continuous learning and development
  • Work from anywhere in the world for 30 days per year
  • A hybrid working approach with three days of in office collaboration (Mon, Tue, Thur) and two days of optional at home focus time.
  • Opportunities to collaborate and socialize with team members through quarterly team events and yearly company-wide events
  • Monthly transportation and fitness budget
  • Discounts for you, your friends, and family on GetYourGuide activities
  • Language reimbursement program
  • Health and wellness benefits

And more…
