We are seeking aFinancial Reporting& AccountingIntern tojoin ourfinanceteam and support period-end and quarter-end reporting activities. This is an exciting opportunity tostrengthentechnical accounting skills and gain experience in financial analysis within a fast-paced,collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Supportmonth-endand quarter-endclosingactivities,includingvarianceanalysis, journal entries, and balancesheetreconciliations
Assistwith cash management andanalysis
Contribute to drafting and improving general accounting procedures including cash flow, fixedassets,and month-end modules.
Identifyopportunitiestoenhancetoolsandstreamlineprocesses
Performadditionalaccountingtasksasneeded
The roleinvolvesdaily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currentlypursuinga degreein Accounting, CPA path.
Proficiencyin MicrosoftOfficeSuite, includingExceland PowerPoint.
Strongorganizationalskillsandabilitytomanagemultipleprojectswithaccuracy
Proactive and solution-orientedmindset
Abilitytoworkindependentlyandcollaborativelyinateamenvironment
