Job Description

Job Title: Financial Project Analyst Intern
Location: Bogotá, Colombia
Duration: 6 Months / 1 year
Education Recommendations: Students in their final semesters of Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.

Responsible for operational financial support of Customer Order (CO) projects, ensuring accurate SAP master data management, contract maintenance, and compliance with established financial procedures. The role includes preparation of standardized financial reports (Balance Sheet and P&L), support of SOX control activities, documentation management for audit readiness, and coordination with Logistics, Customer, and Shared Service teams to resolve financial and operational issues during project lifecycle and closure.

  • Preparing standard financial reports for Customer Order (CO) projects following established templates and procedures.
  • Executing Quantity (Master) Contract maintenance activities in SAP, including updates, validations, and follow-up on open items.
  • Supporting SOX control activities by completing reports, collecting evidence, and ensuring documentation is properly stored.
  • Maintaining organized financial documentation in shared repositories, ensuring traceability and audit readiness.
  • Supporting project closure activities by tracking WBS, Sales Orders, and Service Orders, and escalating issues when required.
  • Performing data clean-up tasks in SAP, including follow-up on open Quantity Contracts and Goods in Transit (GIT).
  • Coordinating with Logistics, Customer Teams, and Shared Service Teams to resolve operational issues related to financial data and project closure.
  • Prepare reports for projects financial statements - Balance Sheet Review and P&L.

You are a strong match for this role if you have:

  • Solid Excel skills to update reports, validate data, and manage operational trackers.
  • Business-level English, sufficient to follow instructions, document activities, and communicate with global teams.
  • Basic knowledge or strong interest in SAP operational processes, especially contract maintenance and service order processing.
  • Understanding of SOX operational controls, or willingness to learn compliance procedures.
  • High attention to detail, consistency, and discipline in following defined processes.
  • Ability to manage repetitive and structured tasks with accuracy and accountability.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Availability for a 1-year internship.
  • Prior exposure to SAP (operational modules).
  • Experience with data validation, reconciliations, or reporting support.
  • Interest in process execution, shared services, or operational finance.
