In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking Financial Planning and Analytics to bring fresh insights and expertise to our finance department.
This role is part of the Reporting & Analytics team which oversee the delivery of central reporting, analysis and coordination of Forecasting and Planning for finance and the wider business functions. Key requirements are to provide reliable, timely, accurate and insightful reporting and analytics to the wider business functions, ensuring consistency and governance. Review consolidated financial results and forecasts to support and challenge understanding of performance drivers. Governance of data and reports used for management performance reporting and analytics, providing advice and guidance to the wider business functions on reporting and analytics capabilities. Support other areas of the business performance agenda as required including Strategic and Operating Plan processes. Design, develop and interpret financial models and reports, including long term strategic modelling capabilities
This pivotal role will involve:
Review of consolidated financial results and forecasts for accuracy and integrity, ensuring commentaries support understanding of performance drivers, proactively challenging and identifying areas for further investigation to the Finance Business Partner Team to drive improved performance management and manage risk
Provide ad-hoc consolidated analysis and insight to support decision making
Design and build performance management reports, ensuring governance and compliance with business rules, and providing advice and guidance to the wider business functions on reporting and analytics capabilities
Design, develop and evolve strategic modelling capabilities, using commercial acumen to establish driver-based scenario analytics to support business decision making, working closely with finance to share insight and support the business
This role is positioned at CUK8 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
