To support financial planning, management reporting and analysis across Macquarie University Health including providing support to senior members in the Finance Planning and Analysis team.
We’re looking for a commercially minded and analytically driven Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our high performing finance team at Macquarie University Health.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse healthcare enterprise, providing financial insights, forecasting and performance analysis that support operational and strategic decision making.
Working closely with Finance colleagues and operational stakeholders, you will contribute to financial planning, performance reporting and business analysis while supporting improvements in financial systems, processes and reporting capabilities for Macquarie University Health.
Macquarie University Health is Macquarie University's integrated health and medical enterprise, encompassing Macquarie University Hospital, medical imaging, mental health services (Mindspot) and a network of more than 20 specialist clinics. As the University's largest controlled entity, it generates annual turnover in excess of $200 million.
Given the scale, complexity and commercial nature of Macquarie University Health's operations, it is supported by a dedicated Finance function that provides end-to-end financial performance management and business partnering. Operating within the broader Macquarie University Group Finance structure, Macquarie University Health Finance serves as a critical enabler of informed decision-making across a uniquely diverse and fast-growing health enterprise.
You have expertise in conducting research and analysis with a commercial focus, within a large organisation with complex accounting and reporting requirements. Experience in FP&A in a healthcare context would be an advantage.
You are an excellent communicator, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. You build and maintain good, respectful relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, consistently demonstrating professionalism and a collaborative mindset to achieve shared outcomes.
*Please note this role requires a criminal record check.
To be considered, please apply online with your CV and a cover letter outlining how your experience aligns with the selection criteria (above).
