Job Description

Your role

We are looking for a curious, commercially-minded FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team at Sunday Natural. You will own inventory and cost performance analytics end-to-end, partnering daily with Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams to turn numbers into decisions. This is a high-visibility role in a fast-moving, data-driven company; ideal for someone who thrives on ownership and is eager to crack challenges. You will shape the financial backbone of a rapidly scaling consumer business - in the fast growing market of health & nutrition.

  • Own and analyze inventory KPIs (e.g. turnover rate, Days on Hand, aging, stockouts, excess/obsolete inventory) and surface actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Lead forecasting and budgeting for inventory, manufacturing costs, and COGS across all SKUs and sales channels (D2C, Amazon, and beyond).
  • Evaluate standard vs. actual cost variances, purchase price variance, and bill of materials accuracy across product lines.
  • Prepare clear, well-structured monthly performance decks with inventory and margin commentary for executive and board audiences.
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams to understand cost drivers and recommend optimizations.
  • Conduct scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of sourcing, packaging, shipping, and fulfillment changes.
  • Lead working capital planning, identifying opportunities to optimize safety stock and reorder levels.
  • Drive system and process improvements around inventory tracking, reporting, and SKU-level profitability.
  • Build and maintain BI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to automate reporting and improve decision-making speed.
  • Explore and apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate financial analysis, automate recurring tasks, and generate deeper insights from large datasets.

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A (Controlling), cost analysis, or finance, ideally within manufacturing or consumer products.
  • Solid understanding of inventory accounting, manufacturing cost structures, and D2C fulfillment economics.
  • High proficiency in financial modeling, and ERP systems (preferably Odoo or LucaNet).
  • Experience building visual, actionable reports using BI tools (Tableau, GetKlar, Power BI, or similar).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate insights clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Hands-on mindset; comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you own your work end-to-end.

What we offer

  • An appealing discount on all of our products – from essential oils to vitamins & nutrients
  • We offer 28 days of paid time off per year plus up to 5 days off between Christmas and New Year
  • The Urban Sports Club membership and either Swapfiets bike rental or a subsidy for the BVG ticket
  • A healthy balance is important to us: we offer a hybrid work model and 'workation'
  • Receive various discounts of up to more than 50 percent on attractive brands such as Flaconi, Bosch, Apple or Expedia
  • You will be given real ownership and plenty of room for new initiatives, as well as the opportunity to contribute your expertise and implement your great ideas
  • Inviting office spaces with access to plenty of organic teas and superfoods from around the world
  • We like to celebrate each other! Regular tea & office parties, Christmas and summer feasts and various influencer events such as Women's Day

About Sunday Natural

🌿 Ultra-Pure & Naturally Sourced 🌿

Sunday Natural arose from a long-term commitment to and research into holistic health. The founding of our brand was sparked by our lack of satisfaction with the quality of vitamins, food supplements and teas on the market. We decided to make the kind of supplements we wanted to take: simple, high-quality formulas made from ultra-pure, sustainably-sourced ingredients.

We apply perspectives from science, natural medicine and nutritional science to our passion. Sunday Natural is therefore a specialist in the most effective helpers nature provides: superfoods, teas, food supplements and essential oils. We offer outstanding quality and a wide range of products.

Our brand is built on the following principles:

NATURAL 🌿

Nutrients and active ingredients from natural, plant-based sources, in their most bioactive forms. Where possible, organically certified and pesticide-free.

QUALITY ✨

From leading producers and the top cultivation areas worldwide. Laboratory-tested for purity and nutritional content.

PURITY 💯

Organic cultivation and pure active ingredients without chemical additives. Gentle extraction methods. Non-GMO and free from pollutants. Specialised manufacturing with semi-automated, gentle machinery to preserve the quality of nutrients.

INNOVATION 🔬

Uniquely optimised formulas and products developed through partnerships and knowledge-sharing with holistic therapists, leading scientists, and quality manufacturers.

SUSTAINABILITY 🌱

Almost exclusively vegan products, with a few vegetarian exceptions. All ingredients grown sustainably and bought directly from local suppliers. Environmentally-friendly packaging materials, including glass and biodegradable starch.

TRANSPARENCY 🔎

Maximum transparency about all ingredients and processes (no hidden ingredients).

FAIRNESS ⚖️

Premium quality at a fair price due to direct purchasing and in-house production. Long lasting, fair partnerships with suppliers.
