Job Purpose

As a member of the Group Control and Consolidation team, the Financial Planning & Analysis Professional contributes to an efficient collection, a thorough analysis, a sound understanding and a clear presentation of the financial figures of all Corporate departments. You will initiate continuous improvement of the processes within Corporate Controlling and focuses on execution excellence regarding the timely and accurate collection and processing of the financial results of the Corporate Departments.

You will apply innovative tools to analyse the results and will be a networking partner, interacting continuously with the businesses and departments to understand the performance drivers. You will interpret, visualize and present the results to management. In view of the automation and digitalization trends within Finance, you will implement new technologies to increase efficiency, enhance data analytics and improve visualization of the data.

Your Key Accountabilities
  • The Budget and Operational plan / Forecast: you will coordinate, in close collaboration with the management teams, the budget and planning exercise by providing the tools, guiding and challenging the department counterparts and summarizing the budget for further analysis.
  • You will steer the process of allocation of the costs to the business units and / or legal entities. In compliance with governing transfer pricing regulations, you will set up and update the accepted allocation keys, implement the individual allocations and communicate to the respective counterparts.
  • You will perform the consolidation and reporting monthly the financials and will provide additional insight on variances between budget and actuals. You will give regular reporting to the management team on their worldwide financial performance and collect the required feedback to support your analysis.
  • Assure timely and accurate financial data collection and processing for full reporting cycle (monthly reporting, budget and operational plan horizon, forecasting)
  • Initiate automation projects, process optimization and continuous improvement in the reporting cycle.
  • Implement and maintain internal control measures and continuous risk assessment of processes
  • Analyse key financial indicators for the individual corporate departments
  • Identify and stay up to date of new technology solutions, following trends of digitalization, for further optimization of analysis, visualization and presentation of performance indicators
Who we are looking for
  • University degree, with a focus on finance, accounting and controlling.
  • Experience in controlling / accounting / consolidation is a plus
  • Experience with consolidation software, ERP system, Anaplan or BI reporting is a plus
  • Fluent in English as well written as spoken is required
  • Expertise in Microsoft tools, mainly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Good communication skills both in writing and orally
