About the Role

A well-established group engaged in real estate development, property management, and investments is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to provide direct strategic support to the President and COO

This pivotal role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys partnering closely with top leadership to influence key business and investment decisions. You’ll lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance processes across multiple business units — helping drive growth, efficiency, and long-term value creation for the group.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning and Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes across consolidated and entity-level P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
  • Collaborate directly with the President and COO to provide strategic financial insights that guide operational and investment decisions.
  • Coordinate monthly with department heads to update rolling forecasts, ensuring financial plans stay aligned with business realities.
  • Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to executive management.

2. Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Build and maintain robust financial models to support business planning, investment evaluation, and scenario analysis.
  • Conduct variance and trend analyses to identify emerging risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
  • Work with IT and BI teams to develop automated dashboards and reports that enhance financial visibility for executives.

3. Investment Analysis and Strategy

  • Evaluate potential investment and development opportunities through in-depth financial modeling and ROI assessment.
  • Partner with the President, COO, and project teams to ensure financial discipline in acquisitions, developments, and capital expenditures.
  • Support strategic initiatives that drive profitability, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

4. Due Diligence and Executive Collaboration

  • Lead or assist in due diligence for lenders, financial institutions, and prospective investors.
  • Provide the President and COO with timely, data-driven recommendations for decision-making.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to align operational goals with financial objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree or certification (CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis with exposure to consolidated reporting.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with BI tools or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Background in real estate or property development highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage at executive level.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.

Why Join Us

This is a high-impact, leadership-facing role where you’ll work directly with the President and COO of a respected real estate group. You’ll play a key part in shaping strategic decisions, driving financial performance, and influencing the company’s long-term direction.
