Business Unit Overview:

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is critical to helping senior managers understand the business of investment management at BlackRock. We guide and produce budgets, short and long-range forecasts; build and analyze business metrics andidentifycost savings opportunities; deliver economic insight into the relationships between costs and revenues to improve the financial success of the business going forward. We are a valued and criticalcomponentof the management function, working at all levels of BlackRock to provide both a broad and deep understanding of the firm’s financial position and opportunities.

Within the FP&A group,BlackRock is seekinganAssociateto join theFinance Information & Analytics(FI&A) TeaminGurgaon

The FI&A team operates with a Center of Excellence (CoE) model and is responsible for efficient, thoughtful, and scalable production to meet operational excellence, deliver high-value business insights through front-end visualization tools, application of modelling and analytics to generate new insights at scale, engage with technology partners to accelerate data and process transformation.The group is also responsible for engaging with business partners to advise and offerexpertiseon the fundamental building blocks of how we manage the firm and report our financials.

The rolewillbe responsible forbusinessperformancereportingusingdifferent typesof financial and business metrics to generate insightsforthe seniorleaders at the firm.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare periodic financial reports (i.e., weekly, monthly, quarterly) for senior management;includes quarterly earnings support,financialpacks,countrypacksetc.

• Partnering with FP&A teamsonbusiness & client specific reporting.

• Assistwith ad-hoc assignments and reporting requirements as they arise.

• Build cohesive narratives in communicating results to senior management and presentthe data with high end insights.

• Drive initiatives to build analytics for a better presentation of the financials to business.

• Understanding complex data setsand being thestorytellerto helpbusinessmakean informed decision

• Building financial models ormaintainingupdating existing models to supportfinancial analysis

• Communicate effectively with keyFP&Astakeholdersandglobal teams across Finance

• Identifyandexecute onopportunities to improvise the existingprocessesreportingto drive standardizationacross teams.

• Build strongcontrols in existingnew processesandmanagementreports

• Ensureaccurate,complete,andtimelycompletion of processes and reporting

• Be adaptable toa constantly evolving, changing, and challenging environment

Skills & Qualifications:

• MBA with proven experience (4-6years) in FP&A,strong analytics, stakeholder, external,andmanagementreporting

• Effective stakeholder management will berequiredfor the role.

• Advanced excel skillsrequired; experience with Cognos TM1,MS Access,PowerBITableauisaplus.

• Experienceinprocessinglarge data and deriving meaningfulinsights.

• Demonstrated ability to use generative AI tools (e.g., CopilotChatGPT) to accelerate summarizing, quality checks, insight generation and building prompts/agents for different use cases.

• Collaborative, team-oriented, service-oriented, solutions-oriented

• Ability to deliver in fast paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple demands

• Focused,attention to detailsandhigh standardsfor quality,efficiency,and accuracy in their work

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in written form and verbally
