cape group (cape) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee providing services to people with a disability and is a Registered
NDIS Provider.

Nadrasca joined with Brite in April 2025 to form cape group, a newly formed brand resulting from the merger of the two NDIS registered
providers with a combined 120 years in operation across the eastern and
northern suburbs.

Together, we provide a range of services for people with disability, including home and living supports, social and community participation activities, youth employment assistance, supported employment, and NDIS support coordination.

The Position

The FP&A Analyst supports financial performance management across cape group by providing timely analysis, insights and reporting to operational and executive stakeholders. Working closely with the Management Accountant and Finance leadership, the role
contributes to budgeting, forecasting, service line analysis and continuous improvement of financial reporting and data processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Insight

  • Partner with operational leaders to improve understanding of
    financial performance, cost drivers and key variances
  • Support service line and funding analysis, including utilisation,
    margins, productivity and NDIS pricing impacts
  • Translate financial results into clear, actionable commentary for
    non‑finance stakeholders

Planning, Budgeting & Modelling

  • Support budget and forecast preparation and periodic reforecasting
  • Assist with business cases, scenario modelling and sensitivity
    analysis
  • Maintain and enhance financial models and assumptions

Reporting & Systems

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of management reporting, automation and data quality
  • Support enhancements to financial systems, reporting tools and
    processes
  • Assist with ad‑hoc analysis and reporting as required

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Graduate to 3 years’ experience in financial planning &
    analysis (FP&A), management reporting, commercial finance,
    budgeting/forecasting, or a similar analytical finance role
  • Demonstrated
    experience in:
    • Management reporting
    • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Financial analysis and insight generation
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, complex formulas, modelling and data manipulation
  • Experience using ERP and reporting systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar)

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce,
    Economics or a related discipline (or currently working towards)
  • Experience building driver-based financial models, business cases, and/or scenario analysis
  • Experience in the disability, community services or not-for-profit sector, including understanding of NDIS funding drivers

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive or commercially confidential information

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
