Your role and responsibilities


In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the CNELDS FP&A COE team in Xiamen, China

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Support monthly financial report package preparation in closing period in accordance with the unified global strategy of Central Finance, consolidate and analysis financial data to track and assess performance against targets and benchmarks. Communicate to business on performance results and implications of presented reports.
  • Provide business analytical services and support business decisions and actions by profitability analysis, cost & expense analysis of different dimension.
  • Provide other management, operation performance KPI and ad-hoc reports and analysis based on business requirements.
  • Conduct balance sheet review and valuation in general bad debt, warranty provisions, accrued /pre-paid expenses etc, support cash generation and NWC improvement by AR, AP, Inventory analysis.
  • Facilitate budgeting and forecasting process by communicating guidelines, timetables and templates.
  • Benchmarking of processes, tools, and solutions in order that further optimize and standardize controlling activities.
  • Optimizes own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements.
  • Ensure processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with Group and business requirements and maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future internal & external audits and reviews.
  • Monitoring progress achievement and provide insight and analysis to support operational decision-making and Identifying issues and advise management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve.
  • Responsible for the development of finance digital-related reports, follow up on customer needs, and provide professional suggestions.
  • Align with team task assignments and scheduling as required by business needs.

Qualifications for the role

  • Work with a strong sense of responsibility, curiosity and good work attitude.
  • Strong cross function coordination skills, good teamwork spirit, problem-solving skill.
  • Good communication skill and working commitment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Finance, Accounting, Economic or business administration.
  • Years of experience in similar role 5+ years, experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Excellent skill on MS Excel, Power point, priority for the data analytical tools such as VBA & the Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience in SAP data analytical tools such as VBA & deep knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI
  • English proficiency in reading and written, spoken is preferred.
  • Good communication skills of of financial and business processes.
