We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Modeller to join our Business Advisory Services team in Auckland, working closely alongside one of our Business Advisory Services Directors who is a recognised expert in financial modelling and strategic advisory.

This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who enjoys building high‑quality financial models and wants to see their work directly influence client decisions. About the role

As part of our Business Advisory Services team, you’ll support a diverse client base across multiple industries and contribute to advisory work that goes well beyond compliance.

Working closely with a Director, you’ll help build and analyse financial models used for forecasting, scenario analysis, and business planning. You’ll also support the preparation of financial reports, tax compliance work, financial statements, and other client deliverables.

You’ll receive training and hands‑on experience with Modano, our specialist financial modelling software, while developing the skills and experience needed to progress into more senior advisory roles over time.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a motivated and detail‑focused professional with:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or similar qualification

  • Progress toward CA or CPA

  • Around 2–3 years’ accounting experience in a professional services or similar environment

  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills (Xero or APS experience an advantage)

  • Strong analytical, communication, and time‑management skills

  • A professional, client‑focused approach

No prior Modano experience is required—training will be provided.
