Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Drive FI and FX business growth through increased wallet share, new client acquisition, and onboarding of new customers.
Manage relationships with portfolio managers, brokers, and other key stakeholders within target client organizations.
Develop and execute client engagement plans, prepare proposals, close sales, and oversee service implementation.
Identify and close new FI and FX business opportunities while supporting the rollout of new products and market development initiatives.
Conduct customer visits and joint engagements with Retail and Corporate Relationship Managers.
Maximize revenue by effectively managing FX purchases, allocations, spreads, and transaction opportunities in line with approved guidelines.
Collaborate closely with Retail and Corporate Banking teams to grow revenue from existing and prospective clients.
Deliver exceptional client service by identifying and addressing the Financial Markets needs of clients and prospects.
Prepare and circulate relevant market updates while serving as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders.
Take ownership of Financial Markets sales targets, budgets, and profitability objectives.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal policies, KYC/AML standards, and approved dealer and credit limits.
Promote a strong compliance culture and protect the Bank's reputation through high-quality service delivery.
Foster effective collaboration across teams and contribute to the Bank's One Team culture.
Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and industry counterparts.
Participate actively in professional development and undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by management.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
ACI Dealing Certificate will be an added advantage.
Minimum of two (2) years' banking experience, preferably in Financial Markets Sales, Product Sales, or a related field.
Strong understanding of Financial Markets products, FX sales, pricing, and risk management solutions.
Good knowledge of banking operations, practices, and local banking systems.
Sound understanding of corporate banking operations, with exposure to Retail and Corporate Banking segments.
Knowledge of local exchange control regulations and financial market regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
Ability to prepare and present reports and market updates.
Strong business development, sales, and relationship management capabilities.
Proven ability to build, maintain, and grow client relationships across business lines.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and decision-making skills.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Effective problem-solving, planning, prioritization, and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and exercise sound judgment.
