What you will lead

Strategic & Operational Finance

• Budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
• Monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Financial modelling, reporting, and commercial insights

Project-Based Financial Management

• Job costing, WIP, margins, cost controls
• Tracking project performance with on-site teams
• Commercial decision support on active contracts

Cross-Border Governance & Compliance

• Statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements (multi-jurisdiction)
• Internal controls, risk management, and governance
• Audit preparation and coordination

Leadership & Business Partnering

• Collaborate with project managers and operational leads
• Act as a trusted advisor on financial performance
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes and systems

Who Should Apply

Ideal Profile

• 7+ years in a senior finance or Financial Manager role
• Strong operational finance exposure in construction, engineering, or mining
• Experience with project accounting, WIP, and site-based work
• Comfortable working independently in remote or high-activity environments
• Strong in stakeholder engagement and commercial decision-making

Qualifications

• CA(SA), CA(Z), ACCA, CIMA, OR senior non-CA finance professional
• Advanced Excel + ERP experience (Sage, SAP, etc.)

Location

• First preference: Already based in Harare
• Next best: SA-based candidates willing to be 75% in Zimbabwe
