Industry: Microfinance Institution (MFI)
Our client, a reputable Microfinance Institution (MFI), is looking for a Finance Manager to lead the finance department with a strong focus on compliance, reporting excellence, and leadership. This is a key strategic role with a clear growth path toward becoming the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead financial reporting aligned with IFRS and local regulatory standards.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor updates from NBC, GDT, and MEF and ensure full compliance.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Deliver financial insights to support strategic decisions.
- Prepare internal reports and variance analysis for management.
- Recommend improvements in financial processes and reporting.
- Train and mentor finance staff to build a high-performing team.
- Take full ownership of accounting and tax functions.
Main Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and IFRS conversion
- Experience with an accounting firm is preferred.
- Exposure to Banking and Real Estate sectors is a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
