Job Shift: AnyJOB PURPOSE:
The Financial Manager for Rapid Response and Recovery Services (RRRS) plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the division. This position is responsible for providing robust financial oversight, preparing accurate financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and maintaining systems and procedures that support effective program implementation. The successful candidate will leverage their financial expertise to maximize resource utilization and directly contribute to Endeavors' mission of empowering individuals and families, especially those in emergency and disaster contexts.

QualificationsESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee, monitor and evaluate all expenditures within the RRRS division. Provide on-going financial and cost evaluation, and recommendations to the Sr. Director for maximizing all resources.
- Provide monthly financial statements, invoice tracking, budget analysis and supporting schedules for the RRRS division and prepare ad-hoc reports as program needs require.
- Communicate weekly with Sr. Director/Deputy Sr. Director/Director of Administration on the spending status of the RRRS division. Develop financial models which will provide key financial information and recommendations for the division.
- Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; thoroughly analyze, review, and explain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor progress and changes and keep leadership abreast of the division’s overall financial status.
- Serve as the main point of contact for financial monitoring reviews. Ensure all customer concerns are met, and all financial oversight and compliance issues are handled. Maintain knowledge of the regulations and requirements regulating all RRRS programs.
- Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives and current accounting standards.
- Meet regularly Sr. Director and Supervisors to review the monthly spending plans and reports, fostering a collaborative approach to financial management. Other duties as assigned.
- Consistently demonstrate exceptional customer service and a commitment to Endeavors' mission by prioritizing the child, family, Veteran, or client in all interactions and financial decisions.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA/candidate preferred.
- Training in nonprofit accounting and grant administration preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting position, multiple location accounting experience preferred; nonprofit accounting, consolidations, working with an institution subject to Uniform Guidance, and grant administration preferred.
