Lockheed Martin’s Aero Labor & Payroll team is evolving to support the upcoming 1LMX initiative, and we are creating an L4 Leader position to manage the workforce that backs our major sites. In this role, you will guide a diverse group of team members through the 1LMX roadmap, ensuring that all activities align with broader business objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will be responsible for shaping and maintaining an appropriate organizational structure that meets the distinct needs of various site populations and their supporting systems and tools. By harnessing large‑volume data from multiple sources—including ERP, payroll, and HRIS— you will translate complex data sets into actionable insights that drive informed decision‑making.Collaboration is a cornerstone of this position: you will partner closely with internal Aeronautics stakeholders such as Finance, Operations, and HR, while building strong relationships with other business‑area partners to ensure seamless end‑to‑end processes. As the champion for change, you will drive the adoption of new tools, processes, and controls associated with 1LMX, communicating updates effectively to all impacted teams. Your leadership will also involve mentoring and developing a diverse team, promoting an inclusive environment where each employee’s contributions are valued and recognized.The ideal candidate brings at least five years of experience leading a medium‑sized, cross‑functional workforce in labor, payroll, or related support functions, coupled with a proven ability to work with large data sets and translate them into business‑focused insights. Strong stakeholder management, change‑management expertise, and excellent communication skills are essential. Experience with 1LMX or similar large‑scale transformations, familiarity with Lockheed Martin’s aerospace labor and payroll processes, and proficiency in data‑visualization tools are highly desirable. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on a critical transformation, grow professionally while leading a high‑performing team, and drive the adoption of innovative solutions across the organization.

Manages those that perform one or more multiple financial activities within various finance job functions (FP&A, Overhead, Program Finance, Accounting, Controller, etc.). Will include some or all of the responsibilities as defined. Performs financial analysis, establishes performance management budgeting, and forecasting activities to include variance analysis, trend identification, workforce planning drivers, risk and opportunities assessment and development of mitigation plans. Integrates information from multiple financial systems, processes and functions in order to consolidate the data forensics into actionable business solution recommendations. Timely and accurately consolidates financial results (Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash, ROIC, Overhead, Discretionary Funding) and monthly, quarterly and year end reporting to internal and external customers to include government contractual cost and schedule earned value management reporting. Develops and utilizes forward-looking data analytics, visualization and trend analysis to inform financial strategy and decision making. Develops and provides actionable recommendations to key stakeholders to make sound financial and operating decisions. Maintains applicable internal and external (FAR, CAS, SEC, US GAAP) policy, procedure, and controls for compliance to support internal process and external regulatory requirements. Provides subject matter expertise support to proposal development, basis of estimate and negotiations, as required.

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.

  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $111400.00 - $206800.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $100200.00 - $186200.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $89100.00 - $165500.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $80200.00 - $149000.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
