The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) is part of the Under Secretariat for Arms Control and International Security (T) within the Department of State (DOS). INL’s mission is to keep Americans safe by countering crime, illegal drugs, and instability abroad by providing effective foreign assistance and securing international commitments for U.S. security priorities.
Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Office of Aviation and Cross-Border Programs is responsible for oversight and coordination of the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) program. ILEA advances operational cooperation between U.S. and foreign law enforcement from over 100 countries through training academies in four regions of the world. The ILEAs focus on priority areas of interest to the U.S. government such as investigating and countering transnational criminal activities, including but not limited to, drug trafficking, border security and migrant smuggling, human trafficking, money laundering, and cybercrime.
The Financial Management Analyst serves as a member of the ILEA team and is responsible for tracking the budget and finances of the ILEA program. The Financial Management Analyst will also provide assistance in the administration and management of ILEA implementing agreements. The ILEA team manages the program from planning to implementation, coordinating across the U.S. interagency, State Department domestic offices, and U.S. embassies abroad.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
The period of performance for this order will be one (01) year from the date of award with the option to extend for six (06) months, subject to performance, need, and funding.
