Financial Eligibility and Reimbursement Coordinator

Full Time - Daylight - Washington/Waynesburg PA

Requirements of the Financial Eligibility and Reimbursement Coordinator

  • Bachelor’s degree with applicable experience in Health related Field (Preferred)
  • Must have a driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations (Required)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordination of Medicaid (MA) and Medicare benefits with participants, families, and governing agencies.

  • Maintain current electronic case management records, including annual MA recertifications, Skilled Nursing Facility day 31 submissions, and invoicing.
  • Complete documentation of all visits (including episodic, routine, phone calls, home visits, etc.) against the corresponding care plan elements.
  • Communicate participant changes to team members.
  • Provide administrative assistance (applications, forms etc.)/community resources to participants as needed.
  • Assist participants in successful completion of the medical assistance recertification application including submission of all relevant documentation within required timeframes to maintain financial eligibility for Senior LIFE.
  • Keep the participant and family updated about the participant’s MA eligibility, Medicare application stats, and any changes with the participant’s financial status.
