Job Description

The Financial Director will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for leading the finance function and finance team. This role will involve developing and executing the finance strategy, providing accurate financial statements, conducting management accounting analytics, and enhancing business performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong Financial Management, Strategic Leadership, Risk Management, Regulatory & Compliance, and Relationship Management skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. CA (SA) or similar is advantageous.
  • Experience working in financial services or banking industry is essential.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably as a Finance Director or CFO.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business performance and growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage effective relationships across the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Track record of successfully managing financial risk, optimizing capital structure, and ensuring financial stability.
