Financial Data Manager

Client is looking for a highly motivated person specializing in Data Science, Analytics with a focus in Financial Data Management. OCIO is committed to utilizing modern technologies and methodologies in order to deliver secure, high-quality solutions to its business partners. The Data Science, Analytics, and Financial Data Manager will utilize Technology Business Management (TBM) that defines a business model and decision-making framework which provides technology leaders with standards and validated best practices to communicate financial health, quality, and value of IT investments to the business partners. This role is designed to position executives with the knowledge and data to drive business decisions through fact-based tradeoffs of cost, consumption, and performance of IT Services.

Job requirements:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with a team.
• Close collaboration with cross functional teams from IT, HR, and Finance professionals at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to read, understand, and create design documents and technical documentation.
• Deliver reports utilizing visualizations and dashboards to convey financial results, comparisons to metrics and benchmarks using the latest visualization and dashboarding tools.
• Understanding of financial statements including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow and demonstrated ability to automate preparation of these reports. This roll will be in-person or remote Monday thru Friday during standard business hours.

REQUIREMENTS

• Apptio Software-as-Service (SaaS) application - Required 8 years of experience.
• Data modeling, integration, governance, and data quality - Required 8 years of experience.
• SQL, multi-dimensional modeling and OLAP, Tableau/Power BI, and SAP Business Objects environments - Required 8 years of experience.
• Technology Business Management (TBM) framework, best practices, and Taxonomy - Required 8 years of experience.
• Statistical/predictive modeling experience with Python, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, StatsModels, and Scikit Learn - Required 5 years of experience.
• Experience with IT applications and infrastructure data consumption analysis from Mainframes, In-house Data Center Servers, Storage, Network, and Databases from VMWare vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V, SCCM, cloud computing platforms, and SaaS applications - Required 5 years of experience.
• Well-Architected framework: Highly Available (HA), Fault Tolerant (FT), Operationally Excellent, Secure, and Cost Optimized IT Architectures - Required 3 years of experience.
• Proficient in PowerBI visualizations and dashboards - Desired 3 years of experience.
• Understanding of financial statements including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow and demonstrated ability to automate preparation of these reports - Desired 3 years of experience.
