Forget purely traditional audit work. You analyse, question, and strengthen audit insights with data. You’ll work with a wide range of clients, from multinational and public companies to local players and innovative start-ups. Each project brings new challenges, insights, and opportunities to grow your audit and analytical skillset.

• Work with financial and operational data – Collect, structure and process large datasets for audit purposes.
• Perform data-driven audit analyses – Support risk assessments and audit procedures through targeted data analyses.
• Build audit-ready outputs – Create structured analyses and visualisations using Excel and Power BI where relevant.
• Automate and improve audit techniques – Help transform recurring analyses (e.g. sampling, trend analysis, anomaly detection) into scalable and repeatable workflows.
• Ensure data integrity – Validate the completeness and reliability of client data, and document key checks and transformations in line with audit quality standards.
• Support meaningful audit conclusions – Collaborate with audit teams to design fit-for-purpose analytics tailored to engagement risks, sectors and client systems.
• Act as a data contact point – Interact with client finance stakeholders (e.g. business controllers) and internal data owners to obtain and clarify required data.
• Contribute to innovation – Support continuous improvement within the audit data team, including exploring AI-assisted and advanced analytics approaches.

Your foundation

• Background in Economics, Finance, Audit, Data Engineering or a related field

• Strong interest in audit and financial processes, combined with an affinity for data and analytics
• You understand the importance of audit quality: reliability of evidence, traceability and structured documentation
• Comfortable interacting with client finance stakeholders (e.g. controllers, finance teams)
• Strong Excel skills (experience with Power Query or Power Pivot is a plus)
• Affinity with data analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL or Python, or a strong motivation to develop these skills
• Comfortable working with data: collecting, cleaning, structuring and analysing datasets to support audit work
• Interest in translating data into meaningful insights that support audit conclusions and risk assessments
