Every day, millions of financial transactions occur across New Zealand. Behind the scenes, our Financial Crime team works to help keep customers, communities and our bank safe from fraud, scams, money laundering and other financial crime risks.
We're looking for curious minds, natural problem-solvers and people who enjoy connecting the dots.
We're growing our Financial Crime team and have three permanent opportunities and one fixed-term opportunity through to May 2027 available in Auckland and Christchurch. Working on our twilight shift (4:00pm-12:00am), you'll play a key role in identifying unusual transaction activity, investigating alerts and helping keep our customers, communities and bank safe from financial crime.
As a Financial Crime Analyst, you'll investigate alerts, identify unusual activity, engage with customers and colleagues, and help protect people from financial harm. No two days are the same. One day you could be analysing transaction patterns, the next you could be speaking with customers, collaborating with stakeholders or uncovering emerging trends that help strengthen our controls.
This is a role where your attention to detail, judgement and curiosity can have a real impact.
