
As a Financial Counselor, you will ensure that no one feels lost or unsupported when navigating insurance coverage, payment plans, or assistance programs. Your work will directly reduce stress for patients, improve access to care, and help our hospital maintain its commitment to serving the community with dignity.
Duties include, but are not limited to, accessing insurance website to verify insurance benefits, establishing calls in computer system when required, preparing billing packets, interviewing patients to verify demographic and insurance information and collect out-of-pocket (OOP) costs.
