You are someone who can balance accuracy with empathy.
You understand that discussing healthcare costs can be difficult, especially when individuals and families are seeking substance use disorder treatment. You are comfortable explaining financial information clearly without making the process feel transactional or overwhelming.
You are organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. You follow through, communicate well across departments, and take ownership of making sure financial items are resolved.
Most importantly, you believe that financial conversations should support—not create unnecessary barriers to—accessing treatment.
Behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, residential treatment, or healthcare experience is preferred.
Experience with commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, billing systems, electronic health records, or admissions platforms is a plus.
This position is based on-site at Renewal Falls Recovery Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa and works closely with the Admissions team, patients, families, and other departments throughout the facility.
Some flexibility in schedule may be required based on admission volume and operational needs.
