Job Description

The Financial Controller at SWOT Hospitality Management Company plays a vital role in maintaining the fiscal integrity of our diverse portfolio of hospitality services. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the preparation and supervision of budgets, reports, and audits, offering guidance and analysis to the executive team. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across all divisions.
  • Monitor financial performance and conduct variance analysis to guide corrective actions.
  • Manage accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Communicate financial insights and strategic recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate audits and ensure timely tax filings, maintaining strong relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide support in decision-making through detailed financial analysis and modeling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic financial plans and manage budgets effectively.
  • Expertise in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
