We are an embedded business operations platform providing internal support to an international,U.S.-based top-tier investment firm. We are developing our platform into a more dynamic European wideoperations platform designed to deliver excellence in financial reporting and operational efficiency. As part ofour growth strategy, we are expanding our operations in Dublin (currently 6 persons in office) and we areintroducing a new position in our European team. We areseekinga highly skilledFinancial Controller.
The Financial Controller will primarily have full ownership of all financial operations forinvestments in distressed debt held by Irish SPVs (S110companies) that are currently outsourced and will betaken in-house. This position offers a unique opportunity to help shape, the foundation of our Europeanbusiness operations platform with support from and in close cooperation with the existing European team andwork in a flexible office-based/WFH environment. Yourexpertisewill directly influence the scalability andsuccess of our growth strategy, making this role pivotal for the next phase of our development. Further localhires in the financial and operations space areanticipatedin the near term.Additionally, you will serve as a board member for selected Irish SPVs

Functional report to the local Managing Director and direct report to the Senior financial controller(manager controlling team European headquarter based in the Netherlands)
Key Responsibilities
Including, but notlimited to:
Active contribution to successful onboarding and integration of new investments.
Ensure accuracy of all financial reporting requirements and oversee financial operations, includingaccounting and budgeting.
Active involvement in the accounting of deal closings and quarterly reporting.
Ensure continual and consistent compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Analyzingfinancial data to provide (strategic) recommendations.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Monitor and manage cash flows, ensuring the deal SPVs financial stability.
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process and other financial and tax reporting requirements.
Prepare and review VAT and CIT filings in collaboration with tax department.
Provide up to date financialexpertiseto other departments, including tax and legal.
Ensure effective and efficient use of corporate service providers.
Contribute and initiate optimalization of the relevant processes.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 6 - 8 years of post-qualified experience in a financial/accounting management role.
Afinancial qualification is preferred, e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, CPA.
Experience in the financial services industry Strong understanding offinancial management, financialreporting, budgeting, and accounting principles of international and Local GAAP.
Proficiencyin financial software and tools, like Excel, Power-Bl and other accounting reportingsoftware applications.
Strong senseof process optimalization and smooth collaboration with other offices in the group.
Expertisein financial analysis, riskmanagementand financial forecasting.
Excellent management skills, communication, and analytical skills.
Market knowledge about finance investments and return optimization.
Demonstrate ability to implement policies and execute financial strategy.
Havean appropriate levelof governance experience.
Employment Conditions
Fulltimeposition
Salary range: EUR100,000– EUR130,000gross per year, plus a bonus. Salarycommensuratewith experience.
