Company Background

We are representing our client an M&E service provider specialising in electrical serices, extra low voltage system, fire protection system, air cond & mechanical ventilation. Our client is currently looking for experience candidates from the construction/property/M&E industry to fill the Financial Controller position to be based in Ipoh, Perak

  • Industry: Mechanical & Electrical Service Provider (Industrial Construction Industry)
  • Location: Ipoh, Perak

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
  • To provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
  • To offer strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team
  • To manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reports
  • To advise on long-term business and financial planning
  • To provide commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceed business plan targets
  • To ensure the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group
  • To establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Possess professional certificate such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA etc.
  • Experience as a senior financial management role within the construction/M&E/property industry.
  • Experience in public listed company/ experience in IPO listing process.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin language due to business need and liaising with Mandarin speaker contractors.
