Job Location: Pakin Building, Bangkok

Report to: Finance Director

Job Responsibilities

1. Business Performance & Strategic Support

• Partner with local business unit leaders to analyze operational and financial performance and drive improvement initiatives.
• Support business development projects through financial modelling, feasibility assessments, and investment analysis.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and process improvements across business operations.

1. Financial Planning & Performance Analysis

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across business units.
• Deliver monthly financial reviews, variance analyses, and actionable insights for local management to support operational and business decision-making.
• Monitor operational KPIs to identify risks, efficiency opportunities, and margin improvement potential.
• Coordinate with regional teams to submit required reports, deliver financial presentations, and respond to reporting queries in a timely manner.
• Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely financial reporting through SAP and other group reporting tools, including Tableau.

1. Team Leadership & Business Partnering

• Lead, mentor, and develop the controlling team across multiple locations.
• Act as a strong finance business partner to local operational management, aligning financial priorities with business objectives.

1. Capex & Working Capital Management

• Oversee capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning, control, and monitoring across multiple locations.
• Drive working capital management across inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to optimize cash flow.

1. Cost Accounting, SAP Expertise & Transfer Pricing

• Oversee SAP costing processes, standard cost maintenance, and cost-closing activities using SAP Material Ledger (ML) across plants.
• Act as the key contact for transfer pricing (TP) calculations across business units and legal entities.
• Ensure costing consistency, accurate inventory valuation, and compliance with Group guidelines.

1. Sales & Overhead Cost Controlling

• Preparation and reconciliation of sales statistics, price analysis, and contribution margin reporting to support business performance monitoring and decision-making.
• Business partnering with the sales team, providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive profitable growth and support commercial initiatives.
• Controlling and analysis of overhead costs, including identifying opportunities for cost optimization, driving spending control measures, and improving operational efficiencies.

1. Ad Hoc Projects and Support

• Lead and/or support ad hoc assignments, analyses, and cross-functional projects as required.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA is a plus.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of SAP, particularly Controlling (CO) and Product Costing.
• Hands-on experience in cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and investment or feasibility analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with reporting or data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.

Experience

• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, controlling, or business analysis, ideally within a multinational manufacturing environment
