Role and Responsibilities:

Nym is looking for a Financial Controller to join our team, reporting to Nivi Cohen, our DOF. As a Financial Controller, you will:

• Lead the accounting and financial reporting activities
• Be responsible for efficient, accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports and presentations for the executive management team and the board of directors
• Manage the audit process conducted by external auditors and ensure all requests are completed timely and all necessary support is provided.
• Be able to understand and build bottom up financial models to plan, measure and forecast the business.
• Engage with Nym’s leadership team to drive a culture of measurement which enables Nym’s management to make conscious, data driven decisions on a daily basis.
• Participate in annual planning, budgeting, long-term planning, rolling forecast and variance process, make recommendations to improve the process.
• Drive process efficiency and improvement initiatives across the finance function, including the implementation of AI in finance processes to automate and streamline workflows.
• Summarize key data driven actionable insights to members of the executive team to drive better outcomes.

Requirements

• You are a certified accountant (רואה חשבון)
• 2+ years experience as a Financial Controller, preferably in a high tech company
• A solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel is a plus
• Experience with AI tools and their implementation in finance processes is a plus
• A data driven approach, analyzed business performance, identified root causes of problems, and supported the change management program to implement the future state.
• Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, and influencing skills.
• Experience with working in a global, fast growing, dynamic and often ambiguous environment, across multiple time zones
