ABOUT THE ROLE

As Financial Controller, you will support both plant and commercial activities by managing monthly closing, reporting, and planning processes while providing strong analytical insights on production costs, operational performance, sales, and margins. You will act as a key business partner to Operations and Commercial teams, by ensuring financial accuracy, driving performance monitoring, and supporting decision‑making across the organization. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to wider EMEA Operations projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Business partnering with the Manufacturing & Supply Chain local (plant) management
  • Ensure productivity and efficiency savings financial tracking and review
  • Challenge and support to achieve the contribution of the plant to the EMEA profit & cash objectives
  • Alert on key issues and participate to find and implement solutions
  • Point of contact for the EMEA Finance team (e.g. EMEA Ops Finance Business Partner and ROC FBP)
  • Ensure quality and timely input to the main EMEA financial processes (monthly reporting incl. Pigment, Ops and Procurement savings, Capex, etc.)
  • Contribute to analysis of sales profitability by product, customer, distribution channel - in collaboration with the Sales department,
  • Contribute to control of sales and commercial costs accounting accuracy & Group reporting requirements (CCC/CN matrix)
  • Contribute to initial ICO transfer pricing calculations as per the Group process

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes, including cost drivers, production flows, inventory management, and operational performance metrics.
  • First experience in Production Controlling, with proven exposure to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and plant performance monitoring.
  • Advanced Excel user, capable of building complex financial models and using advanced functions (pivot tables, lookups, dynamic formulas…).
  • Strong ERP proficiency, with hands‑on experience as a key user; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and business partnering skills, with the ability to support both operational and commercial stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English – any additional European language is a plus
