As a Financial Controller in our Stockholm office, you will secure accurate and compliant accounting operations and reporting, while supporting business growth and ensuring robust internal and external compliance. This position will cover the markets: USA, Canada and Australia.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Financial Controller your main contribution will be to manage smooth, accurate and compliant accounting operations and reporting, supporting business development while continuously granting internal and external compliance.

You will report to Head of Accounting and consolidation. You will play a vital role in:

• Oversee accounting operations and bookkeeping across multiple countries and entities
• Coordinate and guide external accounting and tax partners to ensure compliant, high-quality delivery
• Lead monthly closing and produce accurate financial reports
• Prepare statutory accounts and manage annual local audits
• Ensure timely and compliant tax filings (where applicable)
• Develop and implement accounting policies, driving consistency and quality
• Improve and digitalize accounting processes for greater efficiency
• Secure full adoption of Group accounting policies within assigned entities
• Support finance projects and cross‑functional initiatives
• Advise the business on accounting and finance matters to enable growth and informed decisions
• Partner with other teams to enhance performance while ensuring compliance

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or other relevant field
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong accounting foundation with experience across different local GAAPs
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• IFRS knowledge is an advantage
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
