At Eatable Adventures, we are looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen our Finance team and play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, control, and insight as the business continues to grow.

This is a great opportunity for a finance professional with solid controlling and accounting experience who enjoys working close to the business and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Controller, you will work closely with the CFO and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable financial information and strong financial governance across all regions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with a high level of accuracy.
  • Managing cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Monitoring budget vs. actuals and analyzing variances to provide clear insights.
  • Ensuring consistency and integrity of accounting data, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Supervising and supporting the accounting function, including direct oversight of the accountant.
  • Overseeing employee expense settlements and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
  • Maintaining relationships with financial institutions, external advisors, and auditors.
  • Contributing to the improvement of financial processes, controls, and reporting tools.
  • Acting as a finance partner for other teams, translating numbers into business insights.

Tu perfil

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in controlling, accounting, audit, or similar finance roles
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel/Google sheets skills and experience with ERP / financial systems
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders
  • Experience in fast-growing, international, or dynamic environments is a plus. Previous experience in controlling multi-entity structures or in external audit is highly valued.
  • Language: advanced in English and Spanish; Italian is a plus.
