The Finance Consultant provides financial analysis, strategic guidance, and operational support to help organizations improve financial performance and decision-making. This role partners with leaders to evaluate financial data, identify opportunities for efficiency and growth, and support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze financial statements, operational metrics, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
Develop financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
Support budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.
Identify cost optimization opportunities and recommend process improvements.
Prepare financial reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate business initiatives and investment decisions.
Assess financial risks and support the development of mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
10+ years of experience in finance, consulting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or a related role.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Proficiency with financial systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ERP systems).
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting strategic planning and business transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with financial reporting standards and corporate finance practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
