Job Description

Main responsibilities :

Within the Financial Compliance & ESG Department of the Questel Group and under the responsibility of the Group Financial Compliance & ESG Director, you will contribute to the following missions:


- Sanctions Compliance & Third-Party Risk Management

  • Maintain and periodically update the Group's list of high-risk jurisdictions, ensuring alignment with applicable sanctions regulations and internal compliance requirements.
  • Administer and continuously enhance the Group Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework and procedures, coordinating internal stakeholder feedback
  • Conduct periodic and ad hoc screenings of customers, suppliers, distributors and other third parties, including sanctions screening, adverse media checks, ownership analysis and reputational risk assessments via a dedicated screening tool and escalate the screening results to the direct-line manager
  • Maintain up-to-date third-party risk assessment records and ensure proper communication of results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct regulatory watch on international sanctions regulations and support the update of related policies and procedures.

Contribute to sanctions risk assessments and remediation action plans.


- Anti-Bribery & Corruption Compliance

  • Support the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Group anti-bribery and corruption (ABC) framework in compliance with Sapin II and other applicable regulations.
  • Participate in the review and update of anti-corruption policies, procedures and controls.
  • Contribute to the preparation and update of the Group ABC risk assessment and risk mapping.
  • Assist in conducting compliance interviews and gathering supporting documentation for risk assessment exercises.
  • Support the development, deployment and monitoring of anti-corruption action plans.
  • Coordinate anti-bribery and corruption awareness initiatives, employee training and communication campaigns.

Contribute to the preparation of management and Audit Committee reporting related to ABC compliance activities.


- Compliance Governance & Regulatory Monitoring

  • Perform regulatory watch on compliance-related topics and assess the impact of new regulatory requirements on Group operations.
  • Support the review of RFPs, RFIs, contractual clauses and other compliance-related business requests.
  • Respond to internal compliance queries and external requests, including bank KYC questionnaires.
  • Maintain compliance documentation, procedures, records and reporting dashboards.
  • Prepare compliance communications, newsletters and awareness materials.
  • Support compliance projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening the Group compliance framework.

Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Procurement, HR, Sales and other stakeholders to promote compliance best practices across the organization.

Objectives of the position :

Support and strengthen the Group Financial Compliance Program by managing sanctions compliance, third-party risk management, anti-bribery and corruption controls, regulatory monitoring, compliance training and related compliance initiatives across Questel operations.

Required skills and qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Compliance, Finance, Audit, Business Administration or a related field.

  • Good understanding of sanctions compliance, anti-bribery and corruption principles, third-party risk management and corporate compliance programs.
  • Strong analytical, investigation and risk assessment capabilities.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • High level of integrity, autonomy, organization and attention to detail.

Required experience :

- Master 2 level diploma with a specialization in Law, Compliance, Finance, Audit, Business Administration or a related field.

- At least 3 years of professional experience in compliance, legal, regulatory, audit, risk management or related functions.

- Experience conducting due diligence, sanctions screening, compliance reviews or regulatory monitoring activities.

- Experience within an international or multinational environment is an advantage.
