As a Financial Coach, you will be responsible for the following:
• Deliver personalized, one on one financial coaching to members and non members, supporting individuals with budgeting, money management, credit education, savings strategies, and informed financial decision making.
• Assessing financial situations, identifying goals and challenges, and developing actionable plans that promote improved financial behavior, stability, and overall wellness.
• Coordinate coaching sessions, manage scheduling and communications, maintain accurate and confidential documentation, track outcomes, and refer individuals to internal departments or community resources as needed.
• Creating and maintaining financial wellness content, including articles, videos, and curriculum, and collaborate across teams to support individualized coaching and broader Financial Wellness initiatives through scalable content and consistent messaging.

Salary Range:
This is a non-exempt position. The starting salary range is $63,151.74-$71,116.83; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Schedule:
• Normally works a weekday schedule, but may be regularly required to work evenings, holidays, or weekends. May be required to travel, travel overnight with or without notice.
Education/Experience:
You must have an associate’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field. Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education. Requires three years of experience related to financial planning, coaching, or consulting. Credit union experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong active listening skills, including the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and address objections to achieve desired outcomes.
• Ability to meet established performance standards on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to maintain proficient knowledge of TFCU products and services.
• Strong financial assessment and guidance skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills to effectively prioritize assignments and projects.
