Mission:

Deliver timely and accurate financial information and oversee the lifecycle of company assets, providing FP&A support that enhances management decision-making and protects capital investments.

Obsessions:

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, identifying trends, variances, and insights to help drive strategic decisions.
  • Facilitate cross-department collaboration by working closely with finance and operational teams to provide data-driven insights and support business functions.
  • Optimize financial processes to help streamline financial workflows, improve reporting efficiency, and support automation efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records across the full equipment lifecycle, including acquisition, disposal, compliance, maintenance, fuel management, utilization, telematics, and ROI tracking
  • Follow & update finance process playbooks.

Expectations: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following expectations satisfactorily.

  • Daily
    • Oversee asset-related communications and requests to ensure all company needs are addressed efficiently.
  • Weekly
    • Ensure all asset-related expenses are paid timely i.e. tolls, licenses, misc. fees, etc.
  • Monthly
    • Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports to leadership by due date.
    • Ensure all asset records are maintained and updated monthly.
  • Quarterly
    • Reconcile asset records against physical asset locations to ensure accuracy.
  • Ad Hoc
    • Prepare various financial reports and cost analysis as needed.

Success Metrics:

  • Most Critical Outcome:
    • Ensure 100% monthly financial distribution and analysis to support management decision-making.
    • Maintain accurate and complete financial records for all company assets throughout the full lifecycle, ensuring capital is protected and data is always audit-ready.

Qualifications/Experience/Education:

  • 3+ years administrative support/office management experience preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Impeccable customer service both internally and externally.
  • Ability to deliver high quality work product.
  • Strong reasoning and analytical skills.
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office 360 and other Microsoft products/systems. Strong technical aptitude, including ability to learn new systems quickly and train/support team in adoption.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation, which includes a motor vehicle check, and drug screen.
