Job Description

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Financial Analyst / Site Lead with a Secret security clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

Koniag Data Solutions (KDS) has an opening for a highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individual to perform Operations Support duties for our customer in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

The Financial Analyst – Site Lead will serve as a senior consultant on the Army’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems. They will provide integrated financial management support services for internal and external customers.

Typical responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Support the analysis and report generation of financial execution activities within GFEBS to include Continuing Resolution Authority (CRA), reprogramming actions, Unfunded Requirements (UFRs), and other financial execution activities to sustain the JPEO A&A mission
  • Assist in the responsibility to maintain and track funded reimbursable authority
  • Interface with ASA(ALT) Managerial Accounting Directorate (MAD) and Defense Finance and Accounting System (DFAS) as needed
  • Support responsibility of Mid-Year Review and Execution Reviews
  • Support requests for FMS Admin funds and track their execution
  • Eventually will lead Internal Operating Budget Team monitoring bank health and contract obligations
  • Support audit activities (such as DAR-Q / MICP / RMIC etc.,) as related to financial data
  • Adjust closed accounts for financial transactions per regulation
  • Interpret data from various systems to obtain data and conduct analysis
  • Facilitate communication between employees and PM to enhance open lines of communication
  • Participate in the planning of employee engagement activities
  • Translate the PM's high-level strategic goals into daily taskings for the 10-person team, serving as the critical data conduct back to the remote office.
  • Collect, verify, and push daily sitreps, accurate labor metrics, and local impact assessments to the PM to populate formal Monthly Status Reports (MSRs)
  • Review and approve employee timesheets, track leave, and ensuring absolute accuracy
  • Verify compliance with expense report submission or request review and approval from PM
  • Participate in PMR and quarterly client review meetings
  • Ensure government personnel do not directly supervise contractor staff, preventing contract breaches
  • Resolve client concerns, project bottlenecks, and standard operational friction before it impacts the broader contract
  • Assist with onboarding activities including base operations protocol and overview of customer mission focus
  • Mitigate operational risks, identify delays early, and execute pre-approved corrective action plans
  • Maintain extreme vigilance over workspace security, ensuring the team strictly follows SCIF, SIPR/NIPR, and general operational security rules

Clearance Requirement:

  • Secret Security clearance

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business from an accredited University
  • 7-12 years’ experience in spending chain with the Army's DFAS, FMS, GFEBs or other DoD ERP
  • Experience utilizing tools and applications to improve operational efficiencies through automation
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and be a self-starter
  • Military experience preferred.
  • Must have worked in the US for the past 2 years.
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment
