
The Financial Analyst Junior is responsible for preparing routine financial reports and supporting analyses to assist management in understanding the bank's financial position. This role focuses on collecting, reviewing, and organizing financial data, as well as assisting in identifying trends and variances. Working under general supervision, the Analyst helps ensure timely and accurate reporting to support informed decision-making.
What You'll Do:
Ability to learn and use Business Intelligence (BI) tools and technologies to collect, evaluate, and analyze management information.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply independent judgment and discretion when reviewing financial data.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IFs, and SUMIFs; proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with or willingness to learn Wolters Kluwer ERP systems, such as CCH Tagetik and OneSumX.
Experience working with large datasets and applying problem-solving techniques through data analysis.
Basic to intermediate experience with SQL or similar tools for data querying and validation.
Knowledge of financial concepts related to profitability, pricing, and risk.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
