Job Description

Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming phenomenal products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish.

Do you love thinking analytically? Are you passionate about applying financial knowledge to navigate complex challenges? Just as our customers find value in Apple products, the Finance group creates value for both Apple and its shareholders. As part of this group, you'll play an integral role in Apple's day-to-day financial health, supporting growth in both revenue and profitability by bringing the same level of innovation to financial matters that we bring to our products and services. Finance is essential to upholding our global commitment to excellence, and it directly shapes the company's future.

We're seeking a passionate and resourceful individual for a key role supporting the Carrier RTM (Route-to-Market) organization within Sales Finance in Japan. Partnering with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and other Finance teams, you'll oversee the performance of Apple's products and services, advising business partners on how to sustainably drive revenue and margin growth.

You'll be an integral partner to the Sales team, helping build and run critical business initiatives — taking ownership of open-ended problems and knowing when to work through them independently versus bring in the right partners. You'll also collaborate extensively with Apple's functional, geo, and Worldwide teams to connect local execution in Japan with the company's broader strategy and goals.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Python, or similar tools, with the ability to use them to streamline reporting.
Strong intellectual curiosity, with a track record of digging into issues to understand root causes rather than surface symptoms.
Experience contributing to or leading process improvements, with an eye toward simplifying or scaling existing workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or another relevant quantitative field.
8+ years of progressive corporate finance experience, directly supporting business partners; people leadership experience is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience building business models and forecasts from complex, incomplete, or evolving data.
Sound judgment for navigating unclear situations, including knowing when to proceed independently versus involve the right stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial analysis clearly and persuasively to varied audiences.
Proficiency in spoken and written English, and business-level Japanese.
Proficiency in Excel and standard business tools (e.g., Keynote, Business Objects, Slack).
