Join our dynamic COE FP&A team as a Financial Analyst III, based in Lagunilla in Heredia, Costa Rica. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the key FP&A and business intelligence activities that would enable the Global Services & Support organization’s achievement of goals and objectives. The responsibilities include financial reporting activities, business partnership for OpEx, CAPEX forecasting, and closing activities. It is a role that requires a self-starter with strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving capabilities. Establishing strong partnerships with business leaders in the respective functions is essential. Well-built analyses and clear communication with senior finance leadership is needed.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with global management to develop regular monthly/quarterly management reporting packages, including financial and key performance indicator metrics.
• Cost center and headcount management to ensure accuracy for internal managerial reporting and optimize resource allocation to drive operational efficiency.
• Support the consolidation of monthly forecasts and provide insights to global management and finance leads.
• Prepare month-end close journal entries and reporting, update reporting files daily, and track CAPEX and depreciation.
Experience & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management, ideally within a matrixed organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience supporting OpEx and CAPEX planning processes.
Preferred Qualifications
• Proficient in Hyperion planning system, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms
• Familiarity with a tier 1 ERP system (E1, SAP, etc.).
