Job Description

The Business Analyst III will support the Enterprise Performance Improvement team by providing financial data to support the projects in the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and utilizes financials models to support the tracking of KPIs and value capture
  • Interfaces with the finance team to ensure methodologies and tools utilized are standard within Weatherford
  • Prepare monthly tax returns, verify and close monthly trial balances
  • Prepares reports for fiscal authorities, statistics, banks
  • Prepares and reviews reports and documents requested by the company's internal and external auditors in order to organize and conduct internal and external statutory audits
  • Supports the project teams with their business objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business / finance, accounting or equivalent area of study
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis and local tax in multinational companies
  • Solid knowledge of Romanian accounting and tax legislation in Romania;
  • Experience of coordinating accounting records (OMF 1802) and verifying the trial balance on the Romanian system, as well as performing calculations to correctly determine the financial result based on Fiscal Romanian Code
  • Oil and gas experience is advantage

Skills:

  • Must be able to coordinate, prioritize and meet deadlines in demanding environment
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate information of a complex nature to various levels in the organization (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to collaborate with others and build relationships in a global environment
  • Knowledge of FP&A processes, data validation of data sets and financial literacy
  • Expert level in MS office products / other financial tools used as standard today
  • Experience with ERP systems or financial software (such as SAP, Oracle, or Power BI)
  • Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP standards
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CPA can be an advantage
  • Intermediate English skills
